Document processing
Turn paper documents into digital information people can search, compare, and use in everyday work.
When this can help
Information in paper forms and scanned files often has to be read and typed into another system before anyone can search it or prepare a report. Inconsistent layouts and unclear handwriting make that work harder to check.
Start with a recurring document type and a specific question the digital records should help answer. The useful result might be a searchable archive, a table of key fields, or a summary of missing information, not simply a folder of scanned images.

- Use the informationReview the records, then export them for search, comparison, or the next workflow.
What we would build together
A document and field map
Agree which document types to support, the fields to capture, and how each field connects back to the source.
A reviewable extraction workflow
Prepare structured records with source references and a place to correct uncertain values before they are used.
Useful outputs
Export reviewed data to an agreed format and prepare summaries around the questions your team actually needs to answer.
Illustrative example
From service forms to a maintenance summary
A workflow could extract dates, equipment references, and recorded work from a set of service forms. After review, a team could compare work by location or find records missing a completion date. An unreadable entry would stay flagged; an absent date would not be treated as proof that work was never completed.
A possible application, not a reported customer deployment or measured result.
Human review
What still needs a person
Document quality affects extraction. Handwriting, damaged scans, and changing layouts may require manual correction. We would assess a representative sample before agreeing the supported formats and review effort. Retention, access, and deletion rules should be set before documents are processed.
Before we start
Can this read handwriting and tables?
Those can be evaluated with a sample of your documents. Support and accuracy depend on legibility and layout; neither should be promised before checking representative material.
Is scanning the same as digitizing the data?
Scanning creates an image. This service goes further by extracting information into searchable text and structured fields that people can review and use. Keep the original document available to check the result.
